The first image is the front view of a bowl about 3" deep.  It is mounted on a faux suede mat and framed in an American-made solid oak shadowbox frame which includes a decorative fillet.  The second image shows the side view  of the three frames that have been stacked to accommodate the depth of the piece.  This frame style can be stacked up to 10 or more deep to allow even greater depth.
